Big or small, the Seven Stars is the perfect venue for a Christmas / End of Year function.

We understand that a lot of thought, time and effort goes into planning, preparing & recovering from a function; so we do our best to take the stress out of your day / night, allowing you to enjoy yourself and socialise with your guests.

Whether you’re wanting to hire out our a private function space or simply reserve an area for a group of any size, we have options for you.

Cocktail Parties - Courtyard

Our Courtyard Function Room is our flagship function space and is a perfect spot for a private event any day or night of the week. It is hot property at the end of the year so we recommend getting in early to avoid disappointment.

The Courtyard is a flexible indoor and outdoor space that can be suitable for anywhere from 60 to 150 guests depending on availability, although it is ideal for groups of 80 - 100. 

Our Fingerfood packages are $14.50 and $19.50 respectively, and additional platters can be added to bolster your food offering if required. Most, if not all, Dietary needs can be catered for easily and we offer flexible beverage solutions for your event. Feel free to get in touch with Tom who will provide you with some guidance if needed.

You’re welcome to decorate, play your own music and display your corporate logo or images on our screens, plus we have a microphone for any formalities if necessary.

Shared Spaces

Our Front Bar, Restaurant & Footpath areas are perfect for groups of up to 50 to get together and celebrate any occasion. Because they are not private areas they are available 7 days and have no minimum numbers, no room hire fees nor minimum spend requirements. 

As with any other function, finger food is able to be served if required and we can run a tab or guests can buy their own drinks.

These spaces are perfect for more casual get togethers or events on a budget. Depending on what’s booked you may have to share the space with some others but you’ll certainly have a designated area with suitable furniture reserved for your use.

Seated Lunches, Dinners or Events

Firstly, groups of less than 24 are welcome to order off of our full a-la-carte menu. There is no need for pre-ordering or a reduced menu as we comfortably handle groups of this size regularly.

Given the busy time of year, for bigger groups (24 or more) we offer two menu options for End of Year events. 

Our Group a-la-carte menu is a more ‘pubby’ menu containing all your pub classics and favourites. There’s a wide variety of cuisine and prices. You are welcome to offer your guests this entire menu or make a selection from the list that suits your budget and dietary needs. 

This menu is perfect when guests are paying individually or if you’re wanting a quick & casual dining experience.

Our Christmas Menu is a more formal dining experience and is ideal for groups wanting two or three courses (or a mixture of both). Great for either a private function booking or a general dining room booking, this menu helps you to celebrate the year in style.

In order to ensure food is served in a quick and orderly fashion, with either menu, groups larger than 24 are required to provide a pre-order or notify guests of an alternate drop.
